About SEED Academy

Built to make learning matter at work.

We are a corporate training and capability development partner for organisations operating across Asia—helping leaders and teams turn learning into stronger communication, better judgement and more consistent performance.

From stories to stronger organisations.

SEED Academy is powered by Stories of Asia, founded in 2019. It was created to solve a familiar problem: organisations invest in training, but too little of the learning translates into everyday performance.

Our role is deliberately focused. We are L&D-led by design—not an end-to-end HR consultancy. We bring together expert practitioners and practical learning design to help people communicate better, lead with confidence and work together more effectively.

That focus shapes how we work. We do not begin with a catalogue or assume that a popular framework will solve every problem. We begin with the moments where performance matters: the conversation a manager is avoiding, the strategy a team cannot align around, or the leadership behaviour that is slowing execution.

From there, we assemble the right mix of facilitators, coaches and industry specialists. The result may be a focused workshop, a coaching journey or a regional programme—but the standard stays the same: relevant to the audience, credible in the room and usable at work.

Our focus

Three connected capabilities.

We focus where people, communication and execution meet—because these challenges rarely exist in isolation.

01

Leadership capability

Build the judgement, self-awareness and people leadership needed to lead through complexity and change.

02

Communication & influence

Help people make ideas clearer, navigate stakeholders and communicate with greater confidence and relevance.

03

Team performance

Create shared expectations, stronger collaboration and the trust teams need to turn decisions into action.

What guides us

Standards that keep learning useful.

01

Industry-proven experts

Facilitators bring real experience from HR, technology, strategy, operations, marketing and leadership.

02

Diverse skills & perspectives

The right mix of specialists is assembled around the capability challenge—not a fixed training catalogue.

03

Designed for behaviour change

Reflection, practice and follow-through are built in so learning can show up in day-to-day work.

04

Asian-centric, globally relevant

Programmes respect local context while holding to global standards of leadership and performance.

The SEED expert network

Expertise selected around the challenge.

No single facilitator should be expected to teach everything.

01

Practitioner credibility

Experts bring experience from the functions, sectors and leadership situations they teach.

02

Facilitation skill

Knowing the work is not enough; experts must help adults reflect, practise and learn from one another.

03

Contextual intelligence

Programmes are grounded in Asian workplace dynamics while remaining relevant to global organisations.

04

Application mindset

Every concept must connect back to a decision, behaviour, conversation or business outcome.

Direction

What we are here to build.

Vision

Workplaces where learning becomes performance.

↳

Capability should keep moving after the session ends.

Mission

Make expert learning practical, relevant and built for Asia.
